I’ve just released Twig 1.9.0.

The major change in this release is the support for more built-in escaping strategies. Twig now supports HTML, CSS, JS, URL, and HTML attributes out of the box (thanks to Pádraic Brady who did a great job at implementing most of the new escaping strategies in the Zend Framework Escaper class from which our code is greatly inspired). The documentation on escaping has also been updated to give more accurate information on what the developer needs to be aware of.
